Futsal road show hits Geelong (VIC)
Football Federation Victoria travelled to Geelong recently in aim of developing current and new Futsal Referees in the area.
Completing the last of two sessions of a Level 5 – Introductory course for Futsal Referees, Anthony Grima (Futsal Referees Trainer) and Chris Ryan (Futsal Development Manager) conducted the course as part of their commitment to developing all aspects of Futsal in all Metropolitan and regional Zones.
Foddy Kyprian (Zone Development Coordinator – Wimmera) was also fortunate to have participated in the course. With all 24 participants taking part, it was a very educational program aimed at improving the knowledge and development of Futsal Referees in Geelong and the surrounding areas.
This course comes on the back of a successful Metro-Western Zone course held in Caroline Springs which saw 15 budding new Futsal referees in attendance.
FFV will aim to run another metro course before the end of the year to aid the rapid growth of Futsal competitions in Melbourne.
