Vikings Futsal Tasmania this year will for the first time kick off a 6 team State League. Full details can be found in the PDF Flyer here.

This will be in addition to the local South, North and North Western competitions where they are expecting once again to have well over 1000 players in the State.

Tasmania also has more than 200 junior Futsal players travelling to Dandenong this year to participate in the 2008 Vikings National School Futsal Titles which is the largest group to date for Tasmania.

Junior Futsal Academies are thriving in the state also and Tasmania’s Futsal boom is really having an amazing effect on the development of players due to the opportunities being presented by Vikings Futsal.

Melbourne’s Pumas Futsal Club have launched their new-look website. The site now features a sponsors page, results and ladders for upcoming league competitions, a hall of fame and a fully-fledged discussion forum.

Pumas have come on in leaps and bounds since opening just two months ago in the north-west suburb of Fawkner. The club now has approximately 40 players and is growing over spring/summer. The club is also in exciting times in relation to its training centre as the local council is on the verge of resurfacing the court and fixing up the facility as a whole.

Our location also bears historic significance in the Football society. We are a 50 metre walk from the Fawkner Blues Soccer Club where the great Juventus side of 1984 trained in preparation for their exhibition game against Australia. Could more future legends be taking their first football footsteps at Pumas?

It’s that time of the year again. Time to strap on the indoor soccer shoes and get into the fun of the NBFA Futsal five-a-side Indoor Soccer.We are looking to field competitions ranging from Under 6’s through to Opens & Mixed.

Every game in every competition will have a Certified Futsal referee.

We have a large number of venues which cover the entire Northern Beaches; Avalon Community Centre, Narrabeen Academy of Sport, Beacon Hill Community Centre, Curl Curl Community Centre, Manly Vale Bowling Club, SOKOL (Frenchs Forest) and Forest High School.

Registration costs for this season per player are as follows:
Mini’s U/6 – U/8 – $30
Juniors U/9 – U/17 – $45
Seniors 18 and Over – $60
Registration carries out for 12 months (this includes winter season)

Match fees for this season per team, per game are as follows:
Mini’s U/6 – U/8 – $42 per team, per game
Juniors U/9 – U/17 – $48 per team, per game
Seniors Opens – $58 per team, per game

Adelaide Stingrays Futsal is proud to launch the South Australia Futsal in Schools Program 2008, developed to provide SA Schools and individuals with the opportunity to participate in a variety of Futsal activities ranging from FREE beginners clinics to the chance to represent the Adelaide Stingrays at the National Schools Futsal Championships.

South Australia Futsal in Schools Program 2008 is open to all SA Schools.

The Vikings longboat has landed on Sydney shore.

The Vikings NSW office will be located at the Michael Wenden Aquatic and Leisure Centre, 62 Cabramatta Avenue, Miller.

Competitions will are played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights with juniors starting 5.00pm.

To help promote Vikings in Sydney the National Vikings Association will be holding in January 2009, the National State and individual club team Championships in Sydney.
