Breakers Ladies dominate Super League (NSW)

The all-conquering U/13’s, together with the U/16 team won both the minor and major premiership.

The open women also had an exceptional year, missing out on the minor premiership by a point to finish 2nd and then blasting their way through the finals series and outscoring Dural in the Grand final to win back-to-back championships.

To cap off a remarkable year for the Breakers girls, 12 of their players were also selected to represent the state at the Australian futsal championships held in Canberra in January.

Breakers Team players were:

U13 – Luseane Cook, Tess Olsen, Maddie Bart, Nicole Simonsen, Sharna Barras, Fede Frew, Lucy Coleman, Harley Johnston, Georgia Busuttil, Georgia Thomson. (Coach Cathie Sweeny; Assist Coaches Asimina Zervos & Beth Sweeny).

U16 – Ellen Wheatley, Beth Sweeny, Sarah Roger, Alex Kent, Micaela Borger, Kina Birkby, Imogen Ewen, Danni Vescio, Bella Walker and Bronte Bates. (Coach Cathie Sweeny; Assist coach John Wheatley).
