St Andrews purple patch continues (QLD)
Under 16 Girls win the first Vikings Coomera River Cup for 2009
St Andrews Lutheran College’s Under 16 Girls team continued their rich vein of form last Thursday afternoon at UCSC with a victory in the first Vikings Coomera River Cup for 2009. Having narrowly missed out on being crowned Qld Champions last month, the girls did not make the same mistake again when they hung on 2-1 in the deciding game against a fast finishing Robina SHS.
Assisi College and UCSC were competitive rivals, but it was the St Andrews / Robina clash which ultimately decided the tournament’s winner. Congratulations to all teams and to Mark Hibbs and his girls for their impressive win. As always, a big thank you to all players, coaches and officials for a wonderful evening of Futsal.
