Wairarapa NZ Underway at Regionals

Logo - Vikings NZWairarapa became the first Vikings Futsal side from the North Island to play at the Vikings Pacific Regional Titles when they kicked off their campaign today.

Coming from the small town of Carterton the boys coaches and parents had a very early start on Friday morning to get to Wellington Airport for their 6am flight.

After arriving in Brisbane they were transferred to the Super Sports Complex at Runaway bay on the Gold Coast which would become their home for the next 5 days.

The side had 3 games today and finished with a full house, a win, a draw and a loss. First up the took on Brisbane South drawing 5 all then they took on Brisbane North going down 5-7 before defeating Central Queensland 10-7 in their last game of the day.

This was a solid start for the side who had chances to win all 3 games.
