no mention of magic in the flyer?
or the fact that there is very limited spaces considering the 2 clubs have merged.

Have magic merged with allstars? I see they have no trials for there mens and womens, are all the players from magic mens and womens going to merge too. geez what a team.

    futsalfanatic on June 29th, 2009 4:20 pm

If the mens and womens merge there’s going to be an awful lot of players picking splinters out of their bums whilst sitting on the bench.

Sorry but these blogs don’t make any sense. Nothing seems to have changed for Inner West Allstars based on that they are advertising for players. To me a merger means that two groups join to make a new completely different group. Alternatively is everyone saying that one club has taken over another?

What happened to MM after the GK incident last season?

    Notme on July 1st, 2009 9:46 pm

Magic staff, coaches, players have all split from all ages, with most going to all stars.

if you notice there is no mention of 16 boys trials as it will contain the magic 16s from last yr which had won the final, with a few inclusions.

although i am surprised at all stars mens not trialing, will be interesting to see who will come up and be a team mate with futsal roo vizzari.

Whos the coaches of the ages?

how many magic coaches actually going to be coaching at all stars?

fired up on July 8th, 2009 6:31 pm

i have heard that carmen and matteo are going to allstars. is jamie going to coach the mens team as well. thsi is going to be interesting. i have been told that the allstars keepers father is on the board at allstars. how will the 2 keepers from magic both be able to play as well.

    futsalfanatic on July 10th, 2009 11:13 am

maybe one of those keepers will be busy with afc club champs and national qualifications for the rest of the year.

    JogaBonito on July 10th, 2009 11:21 am

From what I understand and have been told, Jamie & Co will be at another club.

    Lorenzo D'Addona on July 10th, 2009 11:57 am

    Other than IWAS or Magic?????????

    Curious on July 10th, 2009 12:45 pm

maybe a super league club.. enfield rovers?

    JogaBonito on July 10th, 2009 1:07 pm

    Curious that is correct.

And not enfield………..i would anticipate it would be one of the remaining premier league clubs

    Lorenzo D'Addona on July 10th, 2009 1:46 pm

why wouldn’t carmen and matteo take jamie with them, i have heard he has had a major influence on there coaching since he came to sydney magic. lorenzo how do you find out so much info, you seem to know so much. wouldn’t you think that it would be a blow to there merger if jamie didn;t go with them, and all his fantastic players.

    futsalfanatic on July 10th, 2009 9:27 pm

The top 4 prem clubs have a ton of talent, especially in the mens level. Not having the ex-magic mens team be part of a merger isn’t a big thing. I’m sure the new club would still be very competitive at that level regardless.

top 4 clubs in my opinion : magic, sydney city, quake, allstars.

with magic now gone, the playfield shifts a fair bit, but that good for the sport every now and then

    dave on July 10th, 2009 9:44 pm

FF youll find carmen and matteo were pretty successful in their own right before Jamie went over. But if you have heard it must be right then….. who said that jamie ??? pmsl
And I think you will find “all his fantastic players” were at magic prior to jamie being there. Be interestin to see what happens to the team.
Rumour mill says Jamie will be coaching at either Raiders, Commodores or Crusaders after all the other clubs rejected his our whole team or nothing proposal.

    futsalroo on July 10th, 2009 9:45 pm

true. magic won a few club championships before jamie came along i think. that not an easy thing to do.

jamie certainly improved the coaching further (and helped the mens team finally become champions), but there was always a pretty solid level of coahcing acros most age groups at magic (some more than others).

    dave on July 10th, 2009 9:49 pm

    thanks for the info.

    futsalfanatic on July 10th, 2009 10:45 pm

sorry futsal roo justread your comment again, didnt mean….HIS …just meant all the players there. sorry about that.

    futsalfanatic on July 10th, 2009 10:51 pm

Futsalroo, wouldn’t you congratualate jamie for trying to do the best thing by the players and keep them together. they have won the last 2 finals wouldn’t it be a shame for them to break up. who has rejected his offers so far.

    futsalfanatic on July 11th, 2009 6:02 pm

Are the Allstars having an academy team?
