One of the few fully functioning futsal leagues in the country, Shefa Futsal League has been literally picked up by the radar of a well organised Australian Futsal Association, the Sunshine Coast Futsal Association.
Secretary of the League, Narelle Skelly while visiting the country last year saw some of the league’s opening knockout games and has returned with a set of uniforms for a lucky team, the 21 Jump U16 boys.
21 Jump is a leading club in the league and were privileged to receive the set of uniforms from Mrs Skelly this week.
Reports reaching Daily Sport say the Australian Futsal Association has also shown interest to work closely with the Shefa Futsal League for possible future exchange programs.
Working with an association like Sunshine Coast will boost the performance of clubs in the Shefa League.
