ACADEMY

The aim of the Academy is to teach players the skills of Futsal in a safe and friendly environment in order that they can reach their potential whilst having fun playing the game.

The Director of the Academy is Zoran Mrdjan who places an emphasis on teaching Futsal in the South American style. All players are taught ball skills and strategies with an emphasis on team work, fitness and self discipline.

Only Academy players will be selected to represent the Bayside Pirates in the FFV’s Futsal League and at the State Championships.

The Academy operates from February to November, with periodic breaks during the year. Qualified FFV Coaches will assess all players and organise them into their relevant age groups and skill levels. Training session times will be issued once the groups have been formed.

The Academy operates on Saturday afternoons and is open to:

Sub juniors aged 5 to 10 and juniors aged 11 to 18

All Academy Players will receive a Kit Bag. Training Uniforms are supplied on a seasonal basis. A uniform is also supplied for representative matches. All players are expected to have their own Futsal shoes and shin guards.

We also provide coaching sessions for older players who are either new to the game or players who just want extra coaching. If you would like to attend some of these sessions to improve your skills, then simply contact Zoran or Mark.

Subscription

The annual subscription to join the Academy is $480, which equates to $12 per week. With our EasyeePay payment method, subscriptions can be paid either in full at the beginning of the Academy season (February) or it can be split into two payments of $240 (February and July).
