Football NSW Futsal AWD day a huge success

The annual Athletes with Disabilities day took place on Friday the 14th at Penrith

On Friday 14th August Football NSW Futsal conducted its annual Athletes with Disabilities day held at Penrith Regional Valley Sports Stadium.

35 teams from across Western Sydney took part in the AWD day with the aim of the day for all players involved to enjoy the game of Futsal and meet some new Friends.

Each school played four or five games throughout the day split into 2 categories IO and IM. It was a fantastic day with a number of sides playing some great Futsal. At the conclusion of the event all players who participated were presented with a trophy from the memorable event and we at Football NSW Futsal are looking forward to the next AWD event to be held soon.
