TASMANIA LOOKS TO SET THE STANDARD
Tasmanian sides from both the North & South are on a journey to Albury Wodonga for the 2009 School Titles. Since the development of the Islanders Academy is Tasmania the standard of Tassie’s junior Futsal has lifted.
Tasmania is expected to feature well in a number of age groups with the 16 girls from the north and the 10 boys from the south the favourites to bring back some silverware.
A lot of the people have been involved in the development of the juniors in the state such as Paul Woodham, Sergio Pace, Romeo Frediani and recently Igor Sao Jose. But a lot of credit has to go to both Corey Smith and Will Gee for their tireless efforts in helping junior players in the state achieve their goals.
Vikings Tasmania would like to thank all those involved in current and passed initiatives and tours.
Vikings Tasmania would also like to make supporters and alike aware that the north and south offices will be unmanned from Monday 28th September – Friday 2nd October 2009.
