Brisbane Magic Futsal Announces Referees Development Officer

Troy Doolan will be developing and supporting Futsal Referees for Brisbane Magic

Logo - Brisbane MagicBrisbane Magic Fustal is pleased to announce Mr Troy Doolan as our Referee Development Officer.

Troy has been refereeing Futsal since 2003, obtaining his Level 2 Certification in 2004 shortly before attending his first National Futsal Championships in January 2005.

Since then, he has officiated at each National Futsal Championships, several National Schools Futsal Championships and various other competitions at local, state and national level.

At the 2008 National Futsal Championships Troy was appointed as a referee’s team Co-Captain, taking responsibility for the organisation, mentoring and support of junior referees.

The 2009 National Futsal Championships saw Troy begin his accreditation as a Referees Inspector, further giving back to the sport by looking for ways to identify, develop and support referees, and in turn, help raise the standard and the profile of Futsal in Australia.

Brisbane Magic Futsal welcomes Troy to our club and we look forward to him working closely with our refeeres.
