New competitions for 2010 in Prahan and Glen Waverley, and Referees wanted at Vermont South

New competitions – 2010

Futsal Super 5’s are pleased to announce new leagues in Prahran (St Kilda Road, Melbourne) and Glen Waverley commencing as of early 2010.

Newly established competitions are set to commence at the following locations:

Commencing February 2010:

• Prahran (St Kilda Road, Melbourne): Sunday Men’s League – 4:00pm-10:00pm;
• Prahran (St Kilda Road, Melbourne): Monday Night Mixed League – 6:30pm-10:00pm.

Commencing mid-March 2010:

• Glen Waverley: Monday Night Men’s League – 6:30pm-10:30pm;
• Glen Waverley: Thursday Night Mixed League – 6:30pm-10:30pm.

Futsal Referees Wanted!

Experienced futsal referee required – Vermont South

Can you confidently answer ‘yes’ to the following three questions?:

1. Have you got at least two years’ experience officiating futsal/football?
2. Have you got the knowledge (or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge) of the Futsal Laws of the Game?Please visit our Rules section on our website at www.super5s.org for more information.
3. Are you able to commit to a weekly competition (at least one night per week) as a regular shift?

Futsal Super 5’s host 5-a-side indoor soccer competitions throughout Melbourne between Sunday and Friday nights (inclusive). Venue locations include: Box Hill, Camberwell, Carlton, Collingwood, Endeavour Hills, Footscray, Hawthorn, Preston and Vermont South. In 2010 we’ll have two new facilities on board within the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

We currently have the following refereeing vacancies to be filled asap:

• Tuesday nights at Vermont South (Match times are 6:40pm-10:00pm – 5 games)
• Wednesday nights at Vermont South (Match times are 6:40pm-10:00pm – 5 games)

NOTE: In 2010 we will have several new vacancies present themselves as we will have two new competition venues. If you said ‘yes’ to the questions above please get in touch with us.

Generous pay rate per game is on offer for the right applicant.
