Queensland State Futsal Trials

Brisbane Magic announce those who have been chosen to trail for the Queensland State teams

State Trials are being held this Saturday 7 November 2009 at the Logan Metro Sports Centre, 357 Browns Plains Road, Crestmead for Under 11, 12 and 13s and Sunday 8 November for Under 14, 15 and 16s.

Goalkeepers of all age groups will be required to attend for the whole day from 8:30am until 6:00pm. In addition to game time, Goal Keepers will have the opportunity to partake in specialised coaching sessions throughout the day.

U11s and U12s will be required to be at the Centre from 8:30am. As part of the trial day they will undertake a skill session and play a minimum of 2 matches. After these matches, players will be shortlisted. Those who are not requested to stay on will be permitted to leave the venue at 1:30pm. Players who are shortlisted will be required to stay and play in another 1 – 2 matches.

The last under 11 match will conclude at 4:30pm.

The last Under 12 match will conclude at 5:15pm.

U13s will be required to be at the Centre from 12:00pm. As part of the trial day they will undertake a skill session and play a minimum of 2 matches. After these matches, players will be shortlisted. Those who are not requested to stay on will be permitted to leave the venue at 4:30pm. Players who are shortlisted will be required to stay and play in another 1 – 2 matches.

The last U13 match will conclude at 6.00pm.

U14s will be required to be at the Centre from 8:30am. As part of the trial day they will undertake a skill session and play a minimum of 2 matches. After these matches, players will be shortlisted. Those who are not requested to stay on will be permitted to leave the venue at 3:00pm. Players who are shortlisted will be required to stay and play in another 1 – 2 matches.

The last U14 match will conclude at 5:15pm.

U15s and 16s will be required to be at the Centre from 10:00am. As part of the trial day they will undertake a skill session and play a minimum of 2 matches. After these matches, players will be shortlisted. Those who are not requested to stay on will be permitted to leave the venue at 3:00pm. Players who are shortlisted will be required to stay and play in another 1 – 2 matches.

The last U15 and U16 match will conclude at 4:30pm.

    Just wanted to congratulate Football Queensland on an excellently run trial day. The day long format really simulated the requirements of a tournament and the skills work showed the players what was expected.It was very well run and organised.
