Ole and Ronaldinho Seniors take out Winter Super League Championships
With four time A Grade Super League Champion Zeljo knocked out in their Monday A grade final, giant killers Ole were hot favourites against suprise packets the ‘Gunners’ in the Winter Season A Grade Super League final. After leading by four goals in the first half and seemingly having control of the match, the Gunners fought back to level the scores with only a few seconds left to force the final into extra time. Ole however held their nerve in extra time and got the all important goal, giving Ole their first Super League Championships and their first Silverware for two years. Team Captain and coach Matty Obeid picking his team would go all the way at the start to the season.
Ronaldinho Seniors took out their second B Grade Super League Championships beating a plucky Beagles in a great encounter. The class of the Seniors was shown in the end, but one must congratulate the Beagles for the improvement their team has made in the last year.
