u12 and u15 Solomon Islands squads will be able to attend the FFA Nationals in January

Logo - Solomon StarPassports for the Solomon Islands Under -15 and Under 12 Futsal players preparing to travel to Australia for the Australian National Futsal Championships have been sorted out.

The passports were among items lost during the burning down of the Solomon Islands Football Federation administration office at the recent Solomon Cup riot, raising doubts of the team’s participation chances abroad.

But SIFF Futsal and Beach Soccer development officer Victor Waii confirmed yesterday that all the passports have already been sorted out and they are now waiting for the date to travel.

The championship is set for next month in Australia.

Meanwhile the teams are undergoing extensive training under the watchful eye of Danny Belo at Multipurpose each morning.

Today the teams will continue their usual training starting at 8 am.

Solomon Islands in the Futsal code are currently the Oceania champions.
