Ragomo performs for Warriors (NSW)
Scores a hat-trick in Durals recent Premier League match against Vipers
Solomon Islands futsal international Elliot Ragomo showcased his brilliance in Australia by scoring a hat- trick for his team Dual Warriors in their first finals campaign over the weekend.
Ragomo’s team defeated the Mascot Vipers 4-2 in an epic finals round of the Australian futsal state league at the Menai Indoor Sports stadium.
According to reports, Dural warriors never looked back as Ragomo displayed some individual skill drill to swerve past three defenders before blasting home his first goal.
The crowd witnessed a good and entertaining match and despite its high intensity, the Warriors under head coach Rob Varella looked very sharp all through out the game.
Ragomo added his second goal to his tally with a minute left as he made a clever run beating off guard defenders to place the ball in the back of the net, past the Vipers keeper.
A free kick set up by Ragomo and team mate Rhys Giovenali gave warriors their third goal with Giovenali scoring to give warriors a comfortable lead position.
Close to the end of the game, the match up grew intense but Ragomo scored his third goal to seal the win. He collected the ball at half way and made a run beating the Vipers keeper to easily roll the ball into the goal to send the Mascot Vipers packing.
The Vipers managed to put in two goals but it was not enough for them to make it through.
Dural Warriors will now play Benfica in the semis.
