Gossip from Western Australia Vikings

Friday Night is Futsal Night @ The Left Bank and we hope to see you all there, so make the effort!

Robert ‘Ahh Monty’ Monterosso has promised to behave, but not too much. Youtube has asked for more footage on him and is willing to pay.

The new Wednesday Super League, is expected to start in 3 weeks @ Scotch College. Friendlies may be played in 2.

Muita Calma will be playing and using the games as warm up for the National Club Championships.

Keegan ‘Quiche’ Loraine has sustained an injury from the Nationals which could see him out for many months. The team wishes him a speedy recovery.

The injury is a big blow as he has also been offered a trip to Brazil with the Vikings Futsal organization. The timing is not good.

Evangelos Ftynogiannis has turned down JJ’s intial offer to join the 2010 JJ United Super Awesome Futsal Club, in favour of establishing his own. ‘Hammond Park Stars’

In a Friendly game prior to last years final, Hammond Park defeated an understrength Razzling FC by only one goal.

Their first big signing was to be Keegan ‘Quiche’ Loraine, who was the stand out in that game. Negotiations have taken a turn for the worst as he has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the quality of the side so far.

Daniel Cappellaro could be making a surprise return to State Futsal after only playing in 2 games for Corinthians last season.

Hammond Park are negotiating a contract for him to play for them in 2010. More consistant Futsal will definately help his cause.

Greg Sharland is wanted by both the Pumas and the Cougars for the 2011 Nationals.

Futsal veteran and Muita Calma 6th Man, Darren Blankley, has asked for a contract extension as he feels he may be dropped as the younger players are coming through.

The club has assured him they will not axe him, but that he needs to remain patient.

Scotty Campbell has been seen around town franticly advertising for players to enter competitions at Revolutions, as he tries to lure players to Razzling for the 2010 season.
