Today the Eagles took on the reigning Club Champions Inner West Allstars. It was the Eagles that won the day taking 17 Championship points. (U14 Boys game postponed)

U12 Boys 4 – 3 Win

After letting their guard down last week late in the game it was great to see the boys hold strong and finish worthy winners.

U12 Girls 4 – 3 Win

A fast flowing game that saw Eagles take the lead multiple times only to see Allstars level the game each time. In the end Eagles had too much determination and ended with an excellent win.

U14 Girls 4 – 2 Win

A great performance today against a quality team. Thats three wins in a row and now top of the table. Well done girls.

U16 Boys 4 – 2 Win

A fierce game where our boys maintained their composure. If not for a great game by the Allstars keeper the score could have been more.

U16 Girls 2 – 2 Draw

Coming up against an Allstars team made up of last years undefeated U14’s was always going to be tough. But the Eagles girls played a great game an toughed out a well deserved draw.

Youth 2 – 2 Draw

Match of the day saw the Eagles come up against last years champions. After going down 2 – 0 the boys came back strong and earned a well deserved point. Great performance by Aaron Messina between the sticks keeping the Eagles in the game.

Womens 3 – 1 Win

The Eagles ladies were too good today and drove to a comfortable 3 – 0 lead until conceding a goal late in the game

Mens 5 – 3 Loss

Allstars too good today with their keeper denying the Eagles time and time again. This saw Allstars move to a 4 – 0 lead. But the Eagles mounted a late charge and got back to 4 – 3. While pushing forward for the equaliser, Allstars got their 5th goal on counter attack. Congratulations to Allstars on great win.
