The competition is open to any teams from MFL Clubs, individual Futsal teams or outdoor Football Clubs. It is ideal for Futsal and Football Clubs who want to use the competition as part of their pre season training schedule. The 2011 Mens MFL will kick off in early May and the Rules have been designed for Clubs to trial players for the MFL season.
All games will be played at Cheltenham Secondary College on Friday nights using the “Show Court”, as opposed to the basketball courts used in the normal social competitions. There will be three Referees used for each match. All games are 2 x 20 minute halves.
If you have never played Futsal on the larger sized court before, this could be an opportunity for you and your team to experience the sport at another skill level. It is a different game, which requires a higher degree of skill and fitness. It will ceratinly be a challenge!
