The first major step towards a National League kicks off in May!

Football NSW is very proud to announce that the F-League will be going ahead. The competition will consist of three series which will be played out of three different venues, please find dates and venues below,
Series One- Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium, 16 Stewart St, South Windsor NSW
Saturday 14/05/2011 and Sunday 15/05/2011
Series Two- Sydney Academy Of Sport, Wakehurst Parkway, Narrabeen NSW
Saturday 25/06/2011 and Sunday 26/06/2011
Series Three- Venue to be confirmed
Saturday 23/07/2011 and 24/07/2011
The League will consist of six teams with three teams travelling interstate which is a massive achievement for the first year, this is also a huge step forward in establishing a National Futsal League.
Teams Competing are-
- Inner City FC (VIC)
- Boomerangs F.S (ACT)
- Dural Warriors (NSW)
- Maccabi Hakoah Futsal Club (NSW)
- St Albans Strikers Futsal Club (VIC)
- Parramatta Blues (NSW)
Please note that all games will be played on an International Size Court and games will consist of 25min halves.

I tip my hat to Inner City and St Albans for being part of it. Travelling up to Sydney with a full team for two days at a time aint cheap!
I really hope it goes well for everyone, and all teams should be applauded for it.
This might go a little way towards work out which state is stronger outside of Nationals…

Lets hope they really drive the promotion of this hard through all possible forms of media they can. This could be a great showcase.
