Members of their inaugural men’s side, Husky Akil, Costa D’Addona and Ali Bazzi will guide Sydney Futsal Club’s Youth, 16 Boys and 14 Boys respectively. The 12 Boys will be coached by Ned Banda.
Husky Akil, a former Sydney FC youth player and current Sydney Olympic FC player will guide the Youth this year. Husky is no stranger to Futsal, as he has razzle dazzled for many years in the FNSW Futsal Premier/Super League. Husky has represented NSW with distinction and was on the fringe of the Futsalroo train on squad. Husky is sure to bring his killer instincts to this squad.
Costa D’Addona current Sydney Olympic FC player takes the 16 Boys this year. Costa has played Futsal for most of his life in the FNSW Futsal Premier/Super League as a goalkeeper. He has coached for several years and has represented NSW as a player at the FFA National Championships.
Ali Bazzi will take the club’s 14 Boys. Ali has played alongside Husky and Costa for many years in the FNSW Futsal Premier/Super League and has represented Southern NSW with distinction. Ali is looking forward to teaming up with the 14 Boys and has stated that his team will have an absolute blast.
The 12 Boys will be coached by Ned Banda. Ned currently coaches at Bonnyrigg White Eagles and was a former Marconi Stallions coach. Ned currently holds a UEFA B Licence having learnt his trade under the guidance of Ronald Koeman. Ned is looking forward to this new challenge and enjoys working with talented youngsters who are willing to learn.
This youthful line up will definitely have it all ahead of them. One thing for certain, they will entertain and have fun.
