SYDNEY, Australia: Stanno Australasia is proud to announce its partnership with Sydney Futsal Club in a uniquely structured sponsorship and supply arrangement that will see its teams decked out in cutting-edge futsal apparel for the 2012/13 season.

Stanno, a family-based European teamware brand with an increasing global footprint, has been engaging with various sports and clubs in the Australasian region that share similar goals of excellence.

“We’re thrilled to have entered into a partnership with Sydney Futsal Club that provides players and officials with quality garments and accessories that reflect the kind of excellence they strive for on the court,” Stanno Australasia¡¦s general manager Michael Sivris said.

“Just like Stanno, Sydney Futsal Club has ambitious but absolutely realistic aims to expand its presence and as a new member of the Stanno family, we will be there every step of the way and every time the ball hits the back of their opponents net, to assist with the club’s aims.”

Based in Marrickville, Sydney Futsal Club is fast becoming the dominant force in the sport of Futsal in Sydney’s inner western suburbs.

Sydney Futsal Club president Lorenzo D’Addona said the club was hoping to again represent Australia in the 2012 ESPN Tiger Street Football Tournament after competing last year in the internationally televised event.

“Sydney Futsal Club is honoured to wear the apparel of a major European brand, setting the standard both on and off the court,” Mr. D’Addona said.

“It’s about finding the right balance between quality and having fun – looking good, feeling good and being able to perform to the best of one’s ability. It’s all about making a positive statement.”

Sydney Futsal Club will this year launch the ‘Stanno Futsal Academy’ to identify, recruit and develop players in keeping with the sport’s rapid growth and exciting future prospects.

“We’re excited about the Stanno Futsal Academy and what we are hoping it will provide – a pathway from grassroots to the elite levels of the sport of Futsal,” Mr. D’Addona said.

Australia’s new kid on the block in teamware and sporting apparel, Stanno Australasia, is planning an aggressive expansion throughout the Asia-Pacific region, citing a focus on product and service quality along with innovation.
