A Futsal court part of the $310,000 facelift of Collimore Park in Liverpool NSW
Collimore Park has been opened after having a major facelift and redevelopment.
The redevelopment of the park in Liverpool cost $310,000 and has a host of new features.
Liverpool Council put on a day of festivities to commemorate the occasion with a barbecue, children’s activities and giveaways.
Some of the park’s new features include a children’s playground, a learn-to-ride track, a futsal court, multi-use basketball courts as well as a parkour circuit.
Parkour is a sport where people use their body to run, climb, jump and vault through any environment at speed.
The redevelopment also features a community square, upgraded carparks and landscaping.
The park is on the fringe of the city centre, with the redevelopment providing a much-needed recreation venue for the community.
