WHAT IS THE FNQ VIKINGS SCHOOL FUTSAL TITLES?:

The FNQ School Titles is a tournament held in Cairns each year that enables all schools from across the Far North to compete against each other over two weeks of Pure Futsal Fun (each age group need only play on one day of the tournament).

Last year was a great success with many schools from across FNQ participating, having over 90 teams, and this year will hopefully be even bigger and better with more schools competing to be the best School in Futsal in FNQ.

WHEN?:

The FNQ School Futsal Titles for 2012 will be from 30th April to 11th of May – term 2 of 2012.

Teams only need to play on one day of the tournament, with finals being played on the same day.

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games.

The following are the dates for each age group.

Primary:

• 9 Boys – no older than 9 years at 31/12/12 – Thursday 10th May
• 10 Boys – no older than 10 years at 31/12/12 – Wednesday 9th May
• 10 Girls – no older than 10 years at 31/12/12 – Thursday 10th May
• 11 Boys – no older than 11 years at 31/12/12 – Wednesday 9th May
• 13 Boys – no older than 13 years at 31/12/12 – Tuesday 8th May
• 13 Girls – no older than 13 years at 31/12/12 – Thursday 10th May

Secondary:

• 13 Boys – no older than 13 years at 31/12/12 – Thursday 3rd MAy
• 14 Boys – no older than 14 years at 31/12/12 – Tuesday 1st May
• 15 Boys – no older than 15 years at 31/12/12 – Tuesday 1st May
• 16 Boys – no older than 16 years at 31/12/12 – Monday 30th April
• 18 Boys – no older than 18 years at 31/12/12 – Monday 30th April
• 14 Girls – no older than 14 years at 31/12/12 – Friday 4th May
• 16 Girls – no older than 16 years at 31/12/12 – Friday 4th May
• 18 Girls – no older than 18 years at 31/12/12 – Friday 4th May

WHERE?:

The FNQ Titles will be held at the Redlynch Central Sports Stadium, at 3 Chelsey Lane off Larsen Road at Redlynch.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?:

Any school in FNQ who nominates. All players nominated in a school team MUST be enrolled in and attending the nominated school.

The age groups for this tournament are:

Boys: 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 13yrs (primary school)

13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs, 16yrs, 18yrs (secondary school)

Girls: 10yrs, 13yrs (primary school)

14yrs, 16yrs, 18yrs (secondary school)

COST:

The cost of participating in this tournament is $155 per team – this includes 1 FREE ball per team entered.
