Steven Luburic (center) shown coaching during Season One of the hummel F-League

F-League: Having been involved in Season One of the hummel F-League how did you find that experience?

SL: It was very competitive and exciting, it made me think that futsal in Australia could have a national league that we are all proud of.

F-League: What are you most looking forward to in the 2012 hummel F-League?

SL: The first Series we play the 3 Victorian team’s away will be a tough start. The competitive nature of the competition and seeing how players adapt to the playing stop the clock and travel

F-League: How do you see Futsal currently in Australia, do you think the hummel F-League will help lift the profile of the game in this country?

SL: Yes it is exciting and growing in popularity, it will lift the profile but TV is what our sport needs the most so kids can see it. Futsal is an exciting sport and we need a pathway for our kids. Our players are exciting to watch and kids will enjoy watching them play if given the opportunity. If tenpin bowling is on TV why shouldn’t our sport have some exposure.

F-League: Who are the players in the Parramatta Blues squad that fans of the hummel F-League should keep an eye out for?

SL: Gavin Schipp and Jacob Di Mento are 2 of our exciting players who I not only enjoy coaching but watching them play and compete

F-League: Who do you think will be the team to watch in 2012 hummel F-League?

SL: Dural Warriors will be the team to beat, they are always well prepared and have a few futsalroos

F-League: With matches being played interstate this season, do you think the team will enjoy the travel?

SL: Yes. The Players are already excited about travelling

F-League: You recently attended the AFC Level One course held at the AIS Canberra, how did you find that experience?

SL: A very good course which all coaches need to do. Good to see passion amongst those in attendance, their players will benefit most from the course

F-League: Thanks for your time and Good Luck in in the 2012 hummel F-League?

SL: Looking forward to the hummel F-League and good luck to the futsalroos in their World cup qualification
