Euro Tour Update

With less than 2 weeks to departure final preparations are being made for the young Boomerangs travelling to Spain.

The boys have been training with the senior F-League team for several weeks fine tuning their skills.

“It’s been great training with the senior guys, the intensity has really grown since we started training with them” said Gianmarco Senatore a senior member of the team said “our proficiency in making passes and finishing has really increased, im confident of being competitive when we travel overseas”

2012 Premier League Trials

With the 2012/13 NSW Premier League season fast approaching Boomerangs will soon be holding trials.

Trials will likely be held end of July, but will be posted here when confirmed.

Age groups are as follows

• 12 Boys & Girls
• 14 Boys & Girls
• 16 Boys & Girls
• Youth Men
• All Age Men & Women

Boomerangs will also launch an inuagural academy for boys and girls aged 9-11 years.

Boomerangs and JOMA 

BOOMERANGS FS has joined forces with JOMA Sport Australia as it looks to continue its push to become one of Australia’s strongest Futsal Clubs.

As the Australian Futsal community prepares itself for an exciting and potentially ground breaking year of action, both on and off the court, the BOOMERANGS are looking to play their part in the development of the sport, and maybe even gain an edge, by sharing their talent and experience with the JOMA Sala Alliance.

As the first and only Futsal Club affiliated with Capital Football (the governing body for football in Canberra and surrounding region), BOOMERANGS FS have been fortunate enough to create a playing and coaching roster stacked with National and State representatives. Club Founders Kristian Collins and Eddie Senatore have worked tirelessly to get the club where it is today, boasting 11 teams and participating in Australia’s strongest competition the NSW Futsal Premier League.

It is a fantastic opportunity for both parties to promote and develop futsal as well as the brand throughout Canberra and Australia. The F-League is a fantastic development for futsal in Australia and Boomerangs in partnership with Joma will be a integral part of this competition.”

A small group of BOOMERANGS FS players will be touring Spain and England in June. This group of young players are being groomed as the future ACT senior mens players and the tour provides an excellent chance for these players to get exposure to some of the best junior players Spain has to offer. Joma have been fantastic in supplying clothing and offering logistical support for while we are over in Europe.
