The Scarborough Samba Boys have agreed to join Futsal West and The State Futsal League in starting Junior Futsal Programs in October, to help further the development and promotion of the sport of Futsal in Western Australia.

The Captain of The Samba Boys, Marcio Mendes, will work with El Abrahams in promoting the game and the team, with the support of the many Brazilians currently living in Perth to get behind the All Brazilian Futsal Club. This will ensure the growth of the Club and help it maintain itself as one of the strongest Futsal Clubs in WA and the SFL

The Scarborough Samba Boys will also become the third team in the SFL to become uniform sponsored by Pele Sports for the October SFL as they are very much behind what Futsal West is doing to help develop Futsal in WA.

As a Futsal West and SFL team they will also have the opportunity for many of their Players and Members to travel with Futsal West to Spain in 2013 and Brazil in 2014. This opportunity will only be available to teams that are registered to play during the Winter and Summer Seasons of The SFL
