Albert Park FC 4-9 Ashburton FC

The night of round 13 started with the Green Machine going head-to-head with Albert Park. Albert Park found themselves slipping away early and were trailing 5 goals to 1 at the interval. There was no fight back from Albert Park as Ashburton acquired a straightforward victory.

Elsternwick FC 2-5 Pascoe Vale FC (0-1)

Clash number two of the evening assigned a lowly Elsternwick Royals side with a demanding task against the High-flying Pascoe Vale Lions. The Royals held surprisingly strong and would not let the Lions put them away, Pascoe Vale netted just 1 goal to half-time. The Lions won comfortably but previously poorly performing Elsternwick provided a more than respectable performance in a tough fixture.

CF Brunswick 3-9 Metropolitan (2-3)

The Sky Blues are persisting to challenge for a top 4 finish and a win against a lacklustre CF Brunswick would help the cause. Brunswick kept in touch up until the break at 2-3. But Metropolitan well and truly secured the win, jetting away to 9-3.

FC Balwyn 4-4 Vic Vipers FC (3-1)

After the Bloods loss locked them in to the bottom four for at least another week there was a battle at the other end of the table between the 2nd and 3rd placed Vipers and Bullets. Matty Obeids Balwyn got the jump on the reigning Premiers, putting away 3 to the Vipers 1. An epic match ended 4-4 although Balwyn held the lead for a lengthy period of time and may count themselves unlucky.

FC Essendon 5-3 FC Prahan (2-1)

FC Collingwood 1-7 Hume FC (0-3)

The clash between Collingwood and Hume played out with no major surprises. The Woods failed to get a hold of the game letting Hume stretch out to a 3 goal lead. Collingwood were uninspiring as Hume continued to outplay their weaker opposition, closing the match at 7-1.
