Dural set the standard early and never looked back. Really good effort to win the second edition after losing to maccabi the season prior.

Heat got it together in the final few series with shrewd recruitment and good results but it was too little too late. No prizes for second in this years edition.

Vipers did Victoria proud in there first showing. Like Dural, Boomerangs and Paramatta one of te few genuine clubs to enter and played some memorable games. Coached well and really organized. Shame no Futsalroo call ups.

Boomerangs were hot at times and cold at others, much like Paramatta. Both competitive and had some great individuals, but overall inconsistent and unlikely to finish in the top two.

St Albans had a formidable list but just got it all wrong in the majority of there games. Losing star player Dino Redzepovic didn’t help either but it was a disappointing showing from last years finalists who thrive in knockout finals style games.

Melbourne Heart & Jaguars languished at the bottom and neither really impressed at all.

Heart had the merchandise, finance, squad depth, Pre-tournament buzz but that was about it.

Jaguars, last minute replacements for Maccabi, we’re embarrassing and out of there depth. Both teams will be better for the five series.

What merchandise was heart selling? What depth did they have? Can you confirm how much money Melbourne heart had to play with? Surely they could have “funded” a few more senior Futsalroos… N
