The Grand Final of the 2012 Cairns International Club Futsal Challenge was certainly a game that many will remember with both teams going at it with all they had.

Vic Vipers FC started the strongest and scored 2 quick goals to take the lead, however Muita Calma started to take control and play the game to their game plan as they replied with two quick goals.

The second half Muita Calma started the stronger and pressed high up the court putting pressure on the Vipers defence and with a rebound off the Vipers keeper, the Perth team took the lead, this seamed to force the Vipers to change tactics and introduced the 5th man into play early, however a few missed passes by the Vipers seamed to make it to easy for Muita Calma to scoare and the netted another 2 into an open goal.

It was only the foul count that seam to help the Vipers and after the 5th foul by Muita Calma, the Vipers were able to score two 10 meter penalty shots putting them 1 goal away from equalising, but with only 30 seconds on the clock Muita Calama managed to hold onto the lead and take the Championships, Final Score:
