Does this mean Mountain Majik get promoted?

Yes, they should go up to Premier League and whoever runs last in Premier League should go down to Super League.
It’s looking interesting at the bottom end of Premier League, with Boomerangs and SCE fighting it out.

Innerwest Magic and Dural down to the wire for club championship. Worth paying money to watch them battle it out for the championship when they meet in the last round of the the season in a couple of weeks. Dural are a very focused club and owe their success to quality coaching and consistent commitment on the part of all coaches and players towards training. No doubt serious contenders for club championship in years to come.

From 6th up to 2nd in one year, not too shabby I guess; even I should give them that much…

the dural improvement is on the back of improvements on the ladies side……… the boys have always been great but too many good ladies left there.. this year we see ladies coming their hence they could very well be club champs.. congrats dural well done..
i will be stunned if sce go down, it will be a very sad day to see a foundation club steeped with tradition relegated.. i wonder if they would survive or go the way of kellyville commodores with relegation?

SCE definitely have an easier run home playing Phoenix and Enfield. I’d say they need to get more than 30 points to stay up ahead of the Boomerangs. Possible but unlikely given the state of the girls teams. The 12 and 14 and 16 girls will likely lose both games leaving the club basically having to win the rest of their games a difficult task indeed. I hope the club sticks around in the Super League and can bounce back if they do end up getting relegated.

I think sydney city left it too late to fight for relegation. Thanks to fnsw also who helped them stay on the bottom. as for club champs, Good luck to both allstars and dural. Should be a great ending to a memorable year.

Perhaps some thought should be given to the weighting of points based on age groups, it does seem a lot of pressure on some of the young grades and coaches to win in order to earn points for the club championships, after all the 12′s and 14′s should be about development not points.
Good luck to all clubs on the run to the wire.

Its definately a discussion that needs to be had but would Clubs invest in development if the younger grades weren’t important enough?

This is top level futsal in NSW, its not mid-week social stuff.
The kids join the clubs knowing its top level futsal. Of course they should be playing for points.
If they want an easier time of it they can trial for Super League or play in social comps.
I don’t hear any of the premier league kids at that age level complaining, just adults who aren’t actually playing.
Reminds me of South Park. “Won’t someone think of the children!”

So how did FNSW help them stay at the bottom?
I don’t think SCE would be saying this. I think their view might be “Well we had a bad season. we need to get our behinds into gear and do better next season.”
