We start of our profiles with our u/12 Girls. The team will be coached by Joe Baldacci and managed by Julie Stevanovic.

The team will be looking to team captain Tori Tumeth who was part of our Premiership winning side last year. Tori is a quality pivot who is brilliant on the ball. Santina Wang is another player who was part of our squad last season.

Abigail Stevanovic and Georgia Usherwood join their older sisters at the club this season joining from Enfield Rovers while Isabella Di Sipio who has joined from Mascot Vipers will be relied upon heavily to bang in the goals. Joining the squad this season are a number of new faces of whom plied their outdoor trade for Sydney University who defeated NSWIS side 1-0 in the Grandfinal. They include Adie Thackway, Rose Willis, Lara Bosnich and Maddie Kowalenko.

The club would like to wish Joe and all the girls the very best of luck for the upcoming season.

Team Profile – U14 Girls

Our u/14 Girls will once again be under the guidance of coach Steve Koutzoumis and aptly assisted by Zelko Galic.

This team sure has some star names with sisters of Australian Football royalty Antonis, Petratos and Ibini Isei all represented.

The majority of this team has seen grand final appearances in the past 3 years including twice as u/12s and once last season with a squad full of 13 year olds. 4 players have left the squad but the coaches are extremely happy with the players brought in to replace them. Panagiota Petratos younger sister of former Sydney FC star Dimitri will definitely score some goals as she is a lethal target. Demi Karahlis looks a great find while GK Sophie Magus joins from the Enfield Rovers.

The team will once again be led by Dimity Antonis, Georgia Koutzoumis, Bianca Galic, Ellesia Rinaldi while Elena Bandiera also joins from the 12 girls last season. The squad is rounded off by one of the most exciting young players in country in Princess Ibini Isei.

On behalf of everyone in the club, Good luck girls and hopefully for some of you it will be 4 Grandfinals in a row.

Team Profile – U16 Girls

On the back of the teams State Championship victory coach Roberto Maiorana, Asst Coach Vince Ianni and Team Manager Jodi Pollicina hope that the girls can continue that excellent form in the competition proper.

Led by Australian youth international Rhianna Pollicina the team is an exciting prospect. Club mainstay Nadia Nisbet is one of the best players in the competition while members of last seasons u/14 Girls grandfinalists Lorena Bugden who scored in the SC final and Princess Ibini Isei will be relied to score the teams goals with their clinical finishing and quickness.

The team will have Jessica Urquhart, another player who has tasted international football in goals and she will be accompanied in the team by younger sister Sarah who was also a member of last seasons u/14 Girls Grandfinal team.

The team will be rounded of by new season recruits Georgia Stevanovic from the Enfield Rovers, Lauren Featherstone from Raiders F.C and Daniela Brekic who sealed the victory with the teams winning goal in the State Championship final.

Good luck to all involved. I’m sure you will all do the club proud.

Team Profile – Open Womens

Our Open Womens team has a new fresh look to it.

After a disappointing first half of last season, a coaching change and 5 consecutive wins and a semi final spot was just reward for excellent finish to the season. Matteo Maiorana is back as coach while Lydia Budgen will be the team manager.

The Magic womens team has always been built of dogged defence and the ability to ground out a result. But this season the team has an embarrassment of riches in the attacking half Magics favourite daughter the brilliant Natalie Spirovski is back from her short stay at the Dural Warriors, last seasons Golden Boot Filiz Urkanci crosses over from Mascot Vipers while just as significant is the signing of one of the competitions deadliest finishes in Caitlin Pommie Jarvie from the SCE.

Club captain and team spiritual leader Rose Scarlato is back as are team mainstays Elyce Goss and Amanda Horafios. An added bonus for the team is the return of once competition superstar Natasha Lo Giudice. If Tash can get back anywhere near her best it would be a huge bonus for the team, and the early signs are very promising.

The team will be rounded out by the “Magic Generation next” 4 members of last seasons 16g team in Samantha Scarlato, Zoey Zaczek, Emily Usherwood, last seasons Club Championship hero Amy Dahdah and even younger gun Rhianna Pollicina.

Exciting times for the team. We are sure they will do the club extremely proud. Good luck girls for the upcoming season.
