With 3 weeks to go until Musica Copa kicks off, we can today reveal the names of the final 3 teams taking part in this year’s inaugural charity competition.

Celebrating 15 years in the (music) game, the mighty Elefant Traks label crew will be bringing their skills to the soccer pitch alongside underground techno droogs Motorik! and dance music online experts Pulse Radio.

The new teams complete the already-stellar industry line-up, joining Stereosonic, Mushroom Group, Modular, Sweat It Out, Future Classic, Ministry of Sound, FBi Radio, inthemix and Channel V for the big day.

Today’s announcement brings with it a new batch of artists, DJs, label staff, radio personalities and alike who are all set to take to the field in the name of charity.

Italy’s The Bloody Beetroots, Hot Creations head honcho Jamie Jones (UK), Nick Thayer, Unkle Ho and The Herd crew, Tommy Trash, Krewella, Dave Green (Potbelleez), CSMNT61 and Jensen Interceptor are just some of the new players added today, alongside radio presenters Linda Marigliano (triple j) and FBi Radio’s Ellie Graham, Lewis Mitchell, Yaz Mund and Heidi Pett. Meanwhile, Channel V hosts Carissa Walford and Marty Smiley join Danny Clayton and label heads Stephen Pavlovic (Modular) and Nathan McLay (Future Classic) will both be leading their teams from the front.

With the transfer window open for another week, expect more major player announcements to follow soon!

The Musica Copa Soundsystem will be cranking all day long for players and spectators alike, with a host of Musica Copa DJ pals on hand to ensure the action is as hot off the pitch as it is on it!

You won’t miss a beat as Purple Sneakers DJs, wordlife, Lancelot, Slow Blow, Astral DJs, Frames, Shantan Wantan Ichiban, Moonbase Commander and LUEN will all be gracing the decks throughout the day.

And you never know, there might just yet be a few surprise guests as well ;-)
