Paramartyr King Futsal club may not make it for the Greg Foster Futsal competition in Australia this month but they will sure do have players featuring in the competition.
Team manager, Thomas Kalola yesterday revealed three of Paramartyr Kingz U19 players will be travelling to Australia on Friday.They are Charlie Kalola, James Egeta and Benzy Jamae.They will team up with their Australian sister club, Victoria All Stars Futsal team.
Having the services of the trio will be a big boost for Victoria All Stars as these three players have had some of experience of playing abroad.
Two out the three were part of the U16 squad which won the Greg Foster title early last year.
With the addition of Futsal sensation, James Egeta the Kurukuru player the All Stars will likely be one of the strong contenders of the competition.
The trio’s inclusion comes as another big boost and proud moment for local futsal club Paramartyr Kings.
Recently the All Stars also featured one of Paramartyr Kingz’s players, Joseph Onika junior.
Onika Junior has proven his worth when he was selected amongst the best futsal players in the Victoria state of Australia to join Victoria All Stars squad.
It was reported Onika Junior has been one of the outstanding players at his academy and was selected in the All Star’s team after his impressive trials which selectors do not hesitate to take him on board.
Kalola believes the trio’s inclusion will also bring pride for the All Stars and Kingz and most importantly to further expose the country’s young players abroad.
The exchange of players is part of an agreement between the Paramartyr Kingz Futsal club and the Victoria All Stars Futsal club.
