The weekend will be a rare opportunity for Brisbane’s junior and senior elite Futsal players to come together and compete.
BFL and North Brisbane youth player Ebony Davy said that she is looking forward to Super Saturday.
“I can’t wait for Saturday, the atmosphere will be awesome. BFL is close to finals now, so every game counts and the Senior Regionals is always very competitive.” Davy said.
“This is my second year playing as a North Brisbane youth player. As one of the youngest members of the team I have the most to gain.”Davy said
“Saturday will be a great opportunity for young BFL players to watch and learn from the Seniors. The regional competition is always on another level;
I am looking forward to watching Pine River’s Phillipe Furtado play. I met him on a tour of Brazil, he taught me so much about Futsal.I am also looking forward to watching West Moreton’s Tiarne Petterwood play. She is only a little bit older than me but she has risen through the ranks to compete for the women this year. Watching amazing players like Phillipe and Tiarne always inspires me to play my best.” Davy said.
Brisbane’s Senior Regional Tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Finals will kick-off from 2.30pm Sunday afternoon. All players and supporters are welcome to attend the event.
