From FC Brunswick’s Facebook page:
In the final game of the season, as well as new manager Joni’s first game in charge, the boys cruised to a routine 6-3 victory against an organised Melbourne side.
Short on numbers, a first half hat-trick from Ruz Roslan settled the boys into a 3-1 half time lead and after some inspiring words from Joni, scored from the restart through the ever so influential (despite being a Liverpool supporter) Cam Holmes. The boys didn’t have it all that own way and Clint Mogoai, Antonis Apostolakis and keeper Cem Bicer threw their bodies on the line in defence, with all three playing almost the full game. Young (pop) star Danny Slovacek ended the season as he started bagging yet another goal.
It’s not all done an dusted though as the team look to a playoff against the erratic Mickleham Futsal Club for a spot in the V-League premiership. Details to come however the team is counting on your support over the two legs.
