Tournament organiser Faiaaz Ali says this is to give every team a fair chance of winning.
Ali says 20 teams have confirmed their participation with the winner to receive $350.
The tournament will be hosted at the South Seas Club, Lautoka and is starts today.
Following their successful futsal tournament earlier this month, organisers are hoping for a repeat this weekend.
“United Sangam won the last futsal tournament and we saw some district reps making the most of the tournament,”Ali said.
The tournament saw soccer reps like Salesh Sami Bula, Alvin Avinesh and nippy Abbu Zaheed.
Ali has mooted a plan to groom players for the Lautoka team through five-a-side tournaments and has teamed up with former Lautoka coach Lambert Sarju.
Sarju is holding daily coaching clinics at the South Seas Club.
